Four Premium Exotic Places for Honeymoon Vacations

A honeymoon is an unforgettable holiday that every newly married couple embarks on, before establishing their marital life. Although a honeymoon is a traditional idea, nevertheless it carries romantic sentiment and in some cases, honeymoon holiday packages are also gifted to the newly weds by parents and relatives.

Choosing a honeymoon vacation destination can be a little confusing, but there are travel agencies out there who offer wonderful honeymoon packages. There are a number of exotic places that a couple can visit and travel agents are the best informed to help with the final choice. The US alone has so many exquisite places to visit.

Hawaii has been ranked as the number one honeymoon destination for decades now. Sun-kissed beaches, azure water, hidden coves, world class accommodation and the delicious cuisine make Hawaii special. Popular and incredibly beautiful, Hawaii is a lovers paradise. For those who are sports enthusiasts, Hawaii is the place to be in to enjoy amazing water sports. Hawaii is one of natures perfect creations and the weather is simply perfect all year round.

The places worth visiting in Hawaii are Waikiki and Maui islands that display the islands culture and natural beauty. There are many luxurious accommodation options in Hawaii that offer wonderful packages and benefits like Halekulani, Hyatt Regency and the Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hawaii, to name a few.

Niagara Falls is another perfect destination for honeymooners. Niagara Falls is both, beautiful and economic and its panoramic view can be viewed from the US as well as Canada. The main attractions at Niagara Falls include the Maid of the Mist boat cruise that screens an enjoyable feature film from IMAX about the history of Niagara Falls. The other must-see attractions are:

- The Guinness Book of World Records Museum

- Mystery Maze

- The Haunted House

- The House of Frankenstein

You should not forget to visit New York while you are at Niagara Falls. You will get a lot of room to splurge on shopping, restaurants and some of the worlds best theaters.

Florida may be ranked third, but no other destination can compete with Florida in terms of the warm festive ambience that it extends to its guests. Florida offers something for everyone and its itinerary of must see places is so long that tourists are often confused about where to go and what to leave out. Starting from Walt Disney World to the wonders of Orlando, Palm Beach, Miami, Daytona and the Florida Keys, the place is amazing. Along with sightseeing, Florida also offers all its guests lavish accommodation and the most exhilarating assortment of water sports.

Las Vegas is at number four not because it lacks something, but because it has a bit more than a couple on a honeymoon can expect. Las Vegas is also famous as the city that never sleeps and is known for gambling and quick weddings, besides sightseeing. This city offers every couple on a honeymoon an experience of a lifetime.

Apart from these places, other hot honeymoon destinations in the US are California (Wine Country), Pennsylvania (Poconos), Louisiana (New Orleans) and almost all the southern states on the Gulf Coast.

Hades Moon - Part 1 and 2

Part One
Judy Hall's book Hades Moon is an important, powerful and validating book for me. I continue to lend my copy out to grateful friends who then keep it, and I am back to being without a copy. She defines a Hades Moon as being in aspect to Pluto, a Scorpio Moon, and possibly (I consider it), Moon in the 8th house. Even with an 8 degree out of sign conjunction of my Moon to Pluto, this aspect has been huge in my life. This series of blogs is dedicated to all men and women with the courage to allow their feminine aspect to visit, embrace and transmute the dark shadows of Hades into Truth and Love.

For many years, I have been steeped in the metaphysical and spiritual study of the importance of the feminine connecting with the dark shadow during this transition time and so I was struck by the significance of Eris and Ceres joining Pluto as dwarf planets. Eris is new for me, but I have identified with and used Ceres in my readings for over a decade. All three dwarf planets are intense. Eris is the Greek Goddess of strife, war, discord and suggesting creation through chaos. Pluto is the release or letting go of anything preventing the process of death and rebirth. And Ceres experiences a quintessential Hades Moon experience when she must release her child into the hands of her nemesis Pluto for 6 months of the year into the underworld. There is no option for revenge, and her rage turns to deep grief when the lands she governs die in the winter season of Persephones absence. There is nothing she can do. The abduction is not negotiable.

Kelly Lee Phipps points out in a recent article Ceres and the Urge to Belong that wherever Ceres lands in your chart is the theme of surrendering to the loss and return. Eris asks us to be with the chaos. Pluto asks us to dive into the fire, enter Hades, and not shy from dark nights of the soul. It is all about transmutation at the highest level.

Part Two
Judy Hall has a chapter in her book called the Karmic Moon. She opens with No matter what the aspect, the Hades Moon shows us some of the more deeply entrenched karmic issues we have carried from incarnation to incarnation over a vast period of time.

This implies the reality of reincarnation, which I can personally resonate with and use extensively in my client readings. However, the idea of reincarnation may also just be a good way of explaining something beyond our actual literal understanding in this very limited third dimensional reality. It doesnt matter. The frame is a valid one, and correlates also to ones prenatal and early life experience. Karma can be defined as a neutral universal principle that essentially has to do with cause and effect.

Metaphorically, Pluto can be looked at as the evolutionary intent of the soul as carried in from past incarnations. Pluto is also very tied into genetics, and we know that the information we inherit in our DNA goes far beyond physical characteristics. We inherit our ancestors lineages on spiritual, geographical, and psychological levels. We continue the work that is not completely our own. Its all very mysterious stuff!

My father has a Scorpio Moon, with a close Pluto / Sun conjunction in Cancer, and my mother has a Pisces Moon trine a close Pluto / Venus conjunction in Cancer. It is not surprising that I would be born with a Hades Moon, and at least two of my four siblings as well. My ex-husband and father of my two daughters does not have any Moon / Pluto connection, and neither do my daughters. My son, however, was born under the canopy of a close stellium with Chiron / Pluto / Moon (Sagittarius in the 7th house) and his father has a Moon / Pluto square.

The strong connection to the past can have the intention of clearing both personal and collective karma. Pluto transmutes and the Moon is not just mothering and emotions, but our lineage. It is also the past. And with Pluto, evil (or the darker side if you wish) is never far away, either operating from within or without.

A stranger example of past lineage connection is my son Damians story. His father was not interested in being involved (we had split up before I realized I was pregnant) and that was fine with me. The relatively short lived relationship was a lustful nightmare. He changed his mind when his mothers guru and self proclaimed identifier of incarnating masters, saw Damian as Chogyam Trungpa. The Vidyadhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche is an important teacher in the Buddhist Kagyu lineage who barely escaped the Chinese invasion of Tibet, fleeing first to India at the age of 20, then moving to Scotland, England, and finally the United States, landing in Boulder, where I live. He established not only several meditation centers, but the Naropa University here in Boulder. He is well known for his book Crazy Wisdom among others. Trungpa died in April of 1987.

I did not take this seriously because it smacked too strongly of specialness (a most potent trap) which had me running in the opposite direction, while his father took the bait and started running in our direction. Thats another blog. The guru whose mission to identify these souls, traveled from Texas to visit me when I was pregnant. I did not like her, but gratefully took the check for $800 which she gave me. I also chuckled to myself, because by that time I had intuited that Damian had Down Syndrome and wondered what would happen with that revelation. I had chosen not to have any tests. She told me that I could expect a visit from Pema Chdrn, a well known Buddhist teacher and Trungpa disciple...I'm still waiting.

During his first year I couldnt go anywhere without someone stopping me to tell me I had a special child, and they werent just talking about his DS. Mind you, he also has Neptune / South Node / Uranus on his Midheaven. Most of these people were middle-aged wise-women working in the healing arts and looking like modern day witches. One day while I was shopping at one of our 7 (soon to be 8) natural food stores, a slick, well dressed stranger with an arrogant air, come up and asked if I would like a reading. Why not? As it turns out, he was Rennie Davis of the infamous Chicago Seven (originally eight) which also included Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, Bobby Seale, and others, charged with conspiracy in the 60s related to the Vietnam War protests. Now it seems he is a venture capitalist and lecturer on meditation and self awareness. He said that he was there to inform me that Damian had a special destiny and that I was chosen as his mother because of the completely unconditional space which I held for him. At least my life isnt boring.

The early intensity with this issue has died down, but Damian is quite well known in Boulder.

Monitor Symptoms of Colon Cancer

Colon cancer often exhibits the same symptoms as other colon conditions. Crohns disease, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, diverticulosis, and peptic ulcer disease show the same symptoms of colon cancer: red or dark blood in stools, changes in bowel habits, narrow stools, diarrhea or constipation, unexplainable weight loss, abdominal pain, cramps, bloating, and anemia. In order to observe your symptoms better, it is also important to read up on other colon diseases.

The disease can be present for many years before symptoms of colon cancer even show. This is why the best thing to do to watch out for colon cancer is to undergo regular screenings, preferably those that entail fecal blood testing and colonoscopy.

Symptoms of colon cancer vary according to where the tumor is located. Because the right colon is spacious, tumors in the right colon can grow to large sizes before they even cause symptoms of colon cancer. As tumors have a tendency to bleed, cancers on the right colon cause iron deficiency anemia because of the slow, unnoticed loss of blood over a long period of time. It is all the more unnoticeable because the stool travels through the colon longer, so whatever blood is in the stool dries up and even becomes invisible. Iron deficiency anemia, in turn, results in fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath for patients.

On the other hand, the left colon is narrower than the right colon. Cancers of the left colon are more likely to cause partial or complete bowel obstruction. This type of cancer causes the following symptoms of colon cancer: diarrhea, constipation, narrow stools, abdominal pains, cramps, and bloating. If there is bright red blood in the stool, this can also mean that there is a cancerous growth near the end of the left colon or the rectum. Go and see your doctor if you develop any of the following symptoms of colon cancer mentioned above. However, dont panic just yet. As mentioned, some of the symptoms can be indicative of another colon disease altogether. For example, while blood in your stool may be one of the symptoms of colon cancer, it may also come from hemorrhoids or minor tears in your anus. If you are constipated as a result of not drinking enough water and not taking in sufficient fiber, tough stools may scratch your rectal wall.

Additionally, certain foods, such as beets and red licorice, can cause your stools to turn red, while iron supplements and some anti-diarrhea medications often make stools black. However, it is still a good idea to visit your doctor at any sign of blood or other changes in your stools and bowel movement. After all, early detection based on symptoms of colon cancer usually result in complete cures.

Below is a complete list of the top symptoms of colon cancer. It will do no harm to visit your doctor as soon as you feel two or more of the following:

* Major change in your toilet habits, whether you move your bowels more or less
* Blood in your fecal matter, bright red or dried
* Stools that are thinner than usual
* Unexplainable dramatic weight loss
* Stomach pains, cramping or bloating
* Unexplainable fatigue
* Always feeling like you need to move your bowels
* Constant nausea and vomiting
* Iron deficiency anemia
* Abdominal pain, which is a rare symptom of colon cancer, and may exhibit itself as mere tenderness in the abdomen.
